Dr. Sangeet Sawrav is Senior Consultant Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist (liver specialist) and Expert in Endoscopy, in Ranchi, Jharkhand and has an experience of more than 10 years. Currently he serves his patients at his own clinic and day care centre in Bariatu and also associated with Medanta Hospital Irba, Ranchi.
Dr Sangeet Sawrav holds the distinction of starting EUS ( Endoscopic ultrasound) in Ranchi and currency he is the only gastroenterologist performing interventional EUS procedures in the state. He has performed more than 30,000 endoscopy and colonoscopy.
He was the state topper in Jharkhand Medical Entrance test and also one of the topper in MBBS & MD. After completing his MD in Internal Medicine, he was selected for DM in Gastroenterology at the prestigious King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College, Mumbai. He was trained in Gastroenterology & Hepatology under guidance of International acclaimed Professors Dr.(Prof) Shobha Bhatia & Dr.(Prof) Akash Shukla. He is experienced in managing all types of Gastro & Liver diseases. He is trained in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies including ERCP and EUS as well as Manometry, he is a leading Endoscopy and ERCP Doctor in Ranchi.
He has performed many advanced endoscopic procedures like EUS guided drainage of pancreatic cyst for which earlier patients used to be referred to bigger cities thereby giving great relief to patients.
